All the Little Things series started out as a political project. I was recording my friends and family about their political outlook and shooting three frames of each person, trying to get an unbiased look of the political world. Many people would clam up when I brought the recorder out. During a conversation with a man that I had met, he talked to me about the importance of human interaction. It hit me then. I started really listening to what people had to say and quit trying to get anything out of them. I started to write letters, emails, and also record conversations. Reading and listening to what people wrote and said made me realize that it is the small interactions with humans that make the biggest difference in our lives.
